This month marks the physical birth of the earth (whereas Nissan, in the Spring, marks redemption and the spiritual birth of the earth, with Passover).

This is the seventh month of the spiritual year…

… and the first month of the physical year.

That means some things are completing and ending— and other things are beginning anew.
